Alright so for years no ive tried to make my hackintosh work and never succeed, i only have ever had one that worked even partially. I have OS X 10.6.6 running under VirtualBox, but it's way too slow. Since then, OSx86 has covered major ground, making it possible for civilians-like you and me!-to put together their own Hackintosh running Mac OS 10.5. Two years ago, I detailed how to build a Hackintosh for under $800—then covered how to do the same with less hacking. Run this app > System Info - Downloads - OSx86.net. I'm thinking a Hackintosh is the best way to go, but I guess I'm looking for some opinions before I do it. If you are worried, make a full system backup using TimeMachine or a HDD cloning tool.
